BE A TRIAD VOLUNTEER!

The Southwest Madison Triad Planning Committee needs members from the Greentree, Meadowood, Orchard Ridge, Prairie Hills and other neighborhoods south of the Beltline, as well as those north of the Beltline, including Midvale Heights. We usually meet monthly to organize activities and programs of interest to local seniors and others.

If you're a resident “over 50” from any of these areas who'd like to help us protect the safety of local seniors, please call or email Mary Stamstad, RSVP Triad Coordinator at 441-7897 or .

WHAT IS TRIAD? – Triad is a national, state and local organization that promotes personal safety and crime prevention awareness for seniors, to help them feel safe in their communities. West Madison Senior Center Volunteer Opportunity

Volunteer to help a westside older adult with their household tasks.
Help a senior in your neighborhood remain safely in their home by assisting with tasks they are unable to perform and unable to afford hired help.

Volunteers are matched with a senior and may help with one or a few of the following tasks: vacuuming, dusting, mopping, organizing items, cleaning kitchen and bathrooms, changing bed linens and outdoor chores. Friendly visiting can also make a huge impact in a senior’s life. Once matched with the senior, the volunteer and the senior can set up the meeting times and the tasks/activities. Locations vary.
