We now call it "Segoe Summer Nights". You may still see our concerts referred to as "Summer Nights at Segoe" in places, until the name change has been applied everywhere.

Our "Segoe Summer Nights" concert dates and bands for 2026 have been established as:

July 10, The incredible 15 member (or more!) Waunakee Big Band, playing up-tempo jazz, swing, and blues.
July 17, The Honey Pies, a favorite in past years, bring their highly acclaimed jazzy Americana music to Segoe Park.
July 24, The Cajun Strangers return, with their award-winning Cajun and Zydeco music. The Cajun Strangers have roots in the Midvale Heights neighborhood and have been a staple at our concert series for many years.
July 31, And our final concert of 2026, the Madtown Mannish Boys with their exuberant Chicago-style blues will make you want to get up and boogie!

Our concerts start at 6:30 pm (we try to have the food carts available a little earlier than that) and the music goes until 8:30 pm.

Join us for the "Segoe Summer Nights" concerts!

If you have a kindergartener starting at Midvale this fall, the Midvale-Lincoln School Community Organization (SCO) is planning to organize playdates for incoming kindergarteners this summer. (SCO is what Midvale-Lincoln calls their Parent-Teacher Organization.) If you are interested in being added to the list to receive information about the playdates, please add your email using the link below. The link also has a kindergarten FAQ with lots of helpful information for kindergarten families.
Also, if you are interested in MSCR after school care at Midvale for the 2026-27 school year, note that registration will open this Friday, May 1, at 12pm, and the information about it can also be found in the link below.

A new MidvaleHeights.org website is coming

A new version of the Midvale Heights website is in the works. It will be built with Wix. Lacinda Athen () will be the new Website Administrator. They are looking for pictures of the neighborhood to include on the new website. If you have any pictures you would like to give them, email her and she will send you a Dropbox link where you can upload the pictures.

The initial Midvale Heights website was created in March 2003, and was designed by George Merriman. I took over, and have been managing the website since early 2004 (I have been hosting it since it started in 2003).

In 2008 I rebuilt the Midvale Heights website using Tiki Wiki CMS Groupware (https://tiki.org).

I started using Tiki Wiki CMS Groupware in 2003 and have used it for several personal websites. There is a learning curve to using it, but I highly recommend it. I am currently working on installing Tiki Wiki CMS Groupware on a Synology NAS

All user accounts on the current website will be removed.
