About the event
Join us for another prairie tour at the Odana Hills Golf Course on Saturday July 18 at 6pm. The color display this year is phenomenal!
The 1.5 acres site has been restored since 2017 by a small group of volunteers including members of the Wild Ones. Native plant communities with 50+ species have been established. The plant diversity continues to increase and the restoration looks like a real prairie attracting many pollinators! The site is owned by City Parks and serves as a demonstration area to showcase the beauty of native plants in the heart of the city of Madison.
Come and hear what is new this year!
Meet at the far South end of the parking lot past the Clubhouse for the tour. Interested parties could stay for a refreshing beverage at the Clubhouse after the tour.
