Green Team
A volunteer-led effort to maintain medians and greenspaces and offer educational programs on sustainability
Our Green Team keeps the neighborhood beautiful! They tidy our 6 parks and playgrounds, oversee the Bison Prairie Gateway, help with Odana Prarie, and care for plants and pick up litter in the medians on Tokay Boulevard & Segoe Road. Tasks include spring & fall clean-ups, planting, pruning, raking leaves, weeding, deadheading, etc.
The Green Team also hosts sustainability-focused educational programs and film screenings in collaboration with the Sequoya Library. Check the calendar for events.
Join MHCA to help support this program or volunteer your gardening skills (even as a beginner).
